The Institute of Sports and Education Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 26, 2026
About This Policy
The Institute of Sports and Education, also known as The Institute Corona ("we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information through our website, forms, communications, registration processes, and training services.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, information may include:
- Parent or guardian name, email address, phone number, and contact information.
- Athlete name, age, sport, training interests, and information provided about training needs or participation considerations.
- Appointment, attendance, assessment, membership, purchase, communication, and signed-waiver records.
- Technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, referral sources, and website interactions.
Payment providers collect payment information through their checkout systems. Their privacy policies also apply.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange lessons and trials, manage registrations and memberships, provide training, communicate with families, process transactions, and maintain business records.
We also use website activity and inquiry information to understand how families find us and improve our services. Where appropriate consent is provided, we may send information about our programs and offers.
Information About Minor Athletes
Our athletes are minors. Parents or legal guardians complete registration and sign the waiver on behalf of their athletes. Our inquiry and registration forms are intended for parents or legal guardians providing information needed to arrange or deliver training.
Children under 13 should not independently submit personal information through our forms. If you believe a child submitted information without appropriate parent or guardian involvement, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action. Parents and guardians may also contact us about reviewing, correcting, or requesting deletion of their athlete's information.
Instructor Access
We do not give instructors access to the contact information or opt-in details collected through our website forms.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Information may be processed through providers supporting our operations, including ClickFunnels for forms and checkout, Follow Up Boss for contact management and communications, Zapier for integrations, Vagaro for scheduling, and payment-processing providers.
Our website also includes third-party services, such as Loom videos, Senja reviews, and Meta advertising tools. These services may receive technical information when their content or tools load.
We may disclose information when necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or carry out a business transaction subject to applicable requirements. Third-party websites and services have their own privacy policies.
Photography, Video, and Audio
Where the applicable parent or guardian media release has been signed, we may photograph or record participants during lessons, training sessions, camps, events, assessments, and other facility activities.
As described in that release, authorized media may be used for educational, promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes, including our website, social media, email communications, digital signage, printed materials, and paid or organic advertisements.
Consistent with the release, we will not intentionally publish a participant's full name, personal contact information, home address, school, or other sensitive identifying information without separate permission. Contact us with questions about media featuring your athlete.
Cookies and Advertising Tools
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, embedded content, and advertising measurement. For example, Meta Pixel can receive information about page visits and certain website actions.
Advertising and embedded-content providers may collect information across websites or services. Browser settings and provider privacy controls offer options for managing some collection, although those controls may not disable every tracking method.
Website advertising choices: On pages displaying our Website Advertising Choices control, the website Meta Pixel stays off until you allow advertising. You can reject advertising without losing access to our forms or checkout and reopen Privacy Choices to change your choice. The control keeps that pixel off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or a legacy Do Not Track signal. Choices are saved in this browser when browser storage is available. These controls do not cover every third-party service or server-side advertising integration. For broader advertising-related privacy requests, email theinstitutecorona@gmail.com.
Email, Calls, and Text Messages
We may contact you about your inquiry, appointments, registration, training, or account. Marketing communications depend on the permissions and preferences applicable to those communications.
Consent to marketing texts or calls is not a condition of purchasing services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Use the unsubscribe or opt-out instructions in a message, or contact us for assistance. Signing a participation waiver or media release does not by itself provide consent to marketing texts or calls.
Retention and Security
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy and applicable recordkeeping needs. Retention may vary by information type, legal requirements, and unresolved transactions or disputes. We do not promise a single retention period or automatic deletion schedule for every record.
No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Requests
Email theinstitutecorona@gmail.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you or your athlete, or to update communication preferences. Please identify the request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. Do not send payment-card details, government identification numbers, or sensitive medical documents in an initial email.
We may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request. Requests are reviewed individually; some records may need to be retained where permitted or required by law. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on your location and the laws applicable to our business.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy as our practices change. The published policy will show its effective or last-updated date. We will provide additional notice when required.
